The Uncommon Market

Every friday at the “school that must not be named”, they have started to run this event called the Uncommon Market. There you can find all kinds of budget friendly produce that comes directly from their sustainability farm. I have been going three weeks straight and it appears it gets bigger every week.
Check out my stash from this past week:

1. Green beans: $1.50

2. Corn: $1.00

3. Blueberries $2.00

4. Cantaloupe: $2.00

5. Cucumber: 0.75

6. Romaine lettuce: $0.75

7. Peaches and Nectarines: $2.00

For a grand total of $10!!!!! You can’t beat that!

I made the corn into some yummy salsa to go with my quinoa and I am envisioning blueberry muffins in the near future.
